As of about 10:30 AM Central time Chuck Foreman Jersey , the Vikings have filled nine of the ten spots on their practice squad. Those players areWR Jeff Badet (per Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press)WR Chad Beebe (per Darren Wolfson of KSTP)LB Reshard Cliett (per Courtney Cronin of ESPN)DT Curtis Cothran (per Chris Tomasson)LB Garret Dooley (per the Vikings official Twitter account)C Cornelius Edison (per the team)G Colby Gossett (per Courtney Cronin)OT Storm Norton (per Chris Tomasson)S Jack Tocho (per the team)The Vikings have also claimed punter Matt Wile off of waivers from the Pittsburgh Steelers. I assume this means the end for Ryan Quigley in Minnesota, but we’ll see what happens. We will continue updating the list as more names come in. Original story follows:Now that the 53-man roster is set, we can now await the Minnesota Vikings beginning to fill up their 10-man practice squad, as well as make any waiver claims on players that were released that they might be interested in.Claiming players on waivers for the Vikings might be a little tricky, as they are quite a ways down the waiver priority list. Until after the third week of the 2018 season, the waiver priority list is based on the 2018 draft order, which means that the Vikings are near the bottom at #30. If any of the 29 teams above the Vikings claim a player that they Vikings have claimed, that player would be awarded to them first. We detailed yesterday some of the particulars of the practice squad so that everyone can get up to speed, so feel free to check that out.Teams can start signing players to the practice squad at noon Central time, so we should start seeing news rolling in just about any time now. Stay right here and we’ll keep updating you on who the Vikings have added to the practice squad. Just a little while ago, the National Football League announced the rosters for the 2019 Pro Bowl, which will take place in January in Orlando, Florida. Four members of the Minnesota Vikings were named to the squad. . .three of whom you were probably expecting, and one that’s probably going to come as a surprise.Defensive end Danielle Hunter, wide receiver Adam Thielen, and safety Harrison Smith were named to the team. This is the fourth consecutive Pro Bowl for Smith, who is widely regarded as one of the best safeties in the league, and the second in a row for Thielen, who has been near the top of most major receiving categories all season. It’s the first Pro Bowl for Hunter, who has been on a tear all season long and is second in the NFL in sacks with 14.5. Those three men aren’t any sort of a surprise. The surprise is provided by linebacker Anthony Barr. (At least, it was a surprise to me, anyway.) This is Barr’s fourth consecutive Pro Bowl, and it comes in a season where he’s certainly had his ups and downs. He’s missed a couple of games with injuries, and had a couple of games early on where he didn’t look particularly great. Still, the people that make the rosters saw enough in him to name him to the team again.Below are the full rosters for both the AFC and the NFC.
